Fade In

Ext. Big, Wealthy City - Day

A young lady is handed a flier for tonight's New Years Eve party at a club we can see across the street. It reads " 2018, Fuck You, Bring the New! N.Y.E. Party"

She looks up at the club and the camera starts to pull out. As the camera continues to pull out we see more of the lavish city unfold, we keep pulling out showing more and more of the city, then revealing a wall and gates surrounding everything, still pulling out, the countryside stretches out for about a mile and then we reach an abrupt edge of a cliff.

Still pulling out it becomes evident that city is actually built on top of an enormous plateau on top of a massive pillar that reaches high above the clouds and smog of a much older, decrepit and neglected older city far below. A city that still seems to be occupied by factories and other industrial buildings and people living in what looks like an overgrown shanty town. Garbage falls from the pristine city above onto the "slum city" below as the sun starts to set.

Ext. Slum City - Nightfall

The camera starts to push in revealing the poor state of the slum city. Everything is dark and dismal, people look broken, downtrodden and dismal. There are strung out junkies passed out on dirty sidewalks and emaciated looking hookers on the street corners.

Deep in the city we take a turn down an alley way that winds around to an alcove with a door at the end.

Int. Underground nightclub - Night

Despite the sad state of the world around them, people in the club are dancing, break dancers battle in a circle of onlookers as a DJ keeps the music pumpin'. On a back wall there are artist painting, inspired by the vibe. The club is very much alive.

Int. Wealthy City, Ultra Posh Night Club - Night

We are back to the club from the opening shot. The people here seem more boring in contrast. The club itself is drenched in wealth. The finest fabrics are used in large tapestries depicting scenes that resemble those from the days of kings and queens with updated motifs. Everything shines from the gold and crystal embellishments that decorate every area of the club. People in the club wear expensive suits and dresses and carry themselves much more stiffly.

Int. "Urban" Night Club - Night

The Urban club is dark with lots of tiny lights running along the walls, floors and ceilings. The main style here is loads of denim, designer shades, diamond jewelry and frayed hems. The people here try and mimic the vibe of the people below except they take it to a fake feeling place, it looks like they're trying too hard...

Int. Future Funk Klub - Night

The Future Funk Klub is crazy son! People here are just doing anything they want. Costumes range from crazy body paint to robot/animal inspired costumes to lazer lights and gadgets to overall tops with mini skirt bottoms... They're partying it up like its the last night on earth, no inhibitions and free flowing energy in the air.

Dissolve

Ext. Rooftop above - Night

On top of a dark rooftop a graffiti artist is painting on a billboard. Working away against the night sky.

Ext. Rooftop near by - Night

A security guard is making his rounds nearby. Flashlight in hand, he's slowly making his way through.

The graffiti artist continues working away, painting quickly. Close to the painting applying finishing touches.

The guard turns a corner and is facing the artist.

The artist looks up, then gets back to the painting with a quick spfff spffffffffttt

The guard yells out and starts moving toward the artist.

Without hesitation the artist turns and starts to run

The guard yells out again and pulls out his gun.

The artist looks back, eying the guard and throws the spray can at him.

The startled guard pulls the trigger and the can explodes blasting paint in every direction.

As the guard wipes paint from his eyes he notices a familiar flashing light and recognizes the lens of a camera staring back at him.

Int/Ext. Split Screen showing multiple locations - Night

All of the screens in the city get hijacked by an incoming feed. Everyone watches as the guard turns around to see what the camera was pointed at. He jumps back as the camera pushes in on the billboard.

Int. Future Funk Klub - Night

Startled party-goers stare at the screen above the DJ stand. The picture focuses on the painted billboard. It is clear that rapper Banc Buxom is stretched out across a painted spider web. His rib cage is pulled open to reveal that his heart is missing and his belly is split allowing his guts to spill out.

Beside him is a message written in his own blood:

All Hail the Guttless Fool
Who Never Had a Heart
Fall with This Truthless Tool
As Clever As Thou Art
Appall & Enact the Golden Rule
Endeavor to Fake, Get Torn Apart
Ball Playa, But This is True
You Best Not Fake the Art
